Over 60 children from The Premier Academy enjoyed an active and fun-filled residential trip to PGL Liddington this Learning Block.

Setting off early on Monday morning, the children spent two nights at the Wiltshire site and participated in a range of engaging activities across the trip.

Some of the activities included aero ball, orienteering, archery, big swing and even canoeing. The children participated well, and many pushed themselves to be brave on some of the activities that involved heights, such as the climbing wall and trapeze.

On the first evening, the children worked in teams to learn facts about countries around the world while also preparing them for their upcoming Cultural Diversity Week at school.

The second night ended with a campfire, where the children sang songs together, toasted marshmallows and enjoyed themselves after a long day of fun and physicality.

After a few more activities on the Wednesday, the children loaded up the coach and returned home ready for their own beds but satisfied with their experience away from home.

The children behaved exceptionally well throughout the trip, listening to adult instructions and demonstrating independence at meal times.

For the six adults from the Academy who attended the trip, it made things run smoothly and made the entire experience a positive one for all involved.
