To our knowledge we are the only Academy in Milton Keynes to have been awarded six ticks, the highest award available, having been involved with this standard from the earliest opportunity. We have now held this award for 15 years. In the words of our assessor:
Healthy Schools
In achieving the National Healthy Schools Award at its inception in 1998, and in maintaining those standards since, we have proven that we are committed to taking a systematic and constructive approach to some of the more difficult issues surrounding Academy life such as drug education, emotional and mental health and wellbeing, healthy eating, physical activity and sex and relationships education. TPA has been accredited with the highest achievable standard within the Healthy Schools framework.
