The Premier Academy Where Teaching Is A Work Of Heart!

A Royal Handshake for The Premier Academy!

The Premier Academy was well represented last week when teachers Sarah and Jonathan attended a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace!

The pair were joined by truly royal company as King Charles III and Queen Camilla were also in attendance.

Sarah and Jonathan joined outstanding educational leaders from across the United Kingdom at the palace for this special occasion and Sarah even had the special honour of shaking the King’s hand – a truly royal touch for TPA.

The Academy was nominated by Countess Howe, the Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, to attend the prestigious event in recognition for ‘exceptional service to the communities of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes’.

Countess Howe has previously visited the Academy to talk to Year 6 pupils, learning about all the wonderful arts and music activities that take place in throughout the year.

She was particularly impressed with the creative children’s artwork on display around the school.

During her visit, she heard about the many ways the children contribute to community life, such as by singing at local events and care homes, and by creating collaborative artwork for displays at important local spots such as Waddesdon Manor and Bletchley Railway Station.

The Academy is proud of the work done throughout the community and is delighted to have been recognised for the efforts of staff and pupils alike at one of the most famous locations in the world.
