The end of Learning Block 3 coincided with Remembrance Day on Friday 11 November, and The Premier Academy once again took part in the Poppy Appeal.
The event, which aims to raise money for the Royal British Legion, is held every year and items such as poppies and wristbands were on offer for children to purchase ahead of Remembrance Day.
In 2021, the Academy had the esteemed honour of raising the most money of any school in Milton Keynes. This achievement was recognised by the RBL, with the Academy’s name etched onto a memorial shield.
The 2022 edition was once again extremely well supported, with an even more impressive total of £1,507.40 raised. Once again, this means that TPA raised the most of any school in Milton Keynes and have been awarded the William Milson memorial award once again.
The money goes towards helping existing and former members of the Armed Forces and your generous donations were greatly appreciated.
