The Premier Academy Where Teaching Is A Work Of Heart!

TPA’s Next Top Model (Project)

Last term, children across the Academy were given the opportunity to demonstrate some of their excellent topic learning and to get creative with a house competition.

Children were encouraged to make models, write poems, or even draw some interesting pictures to show off about one of the main topics covered so far this academic year. All entrants received house points for their efforts.

Sharon, who leads the House Team, was particularly impressed by the volume and quality of the submissions.

She said, “We had an overwhelming response to the house competition with some wonderful pieces of writing, drawings and amazing 3D models. We are looking forward to displaying some of these around the Academy.”

The children also thoroughly enjoyed participating in the competition. Some of the positive comments included:

It was fun to find materials at home to help us make our project.

I had a really nice time doing it and it was fun to make. I was glad to be rewarded with house points. Luckily, I was doing mine on the Romans and I also went on a holiday to Rome so I got to collect stones and soldiers for my model from there.

I enjoyed decorating my Tudor house and putting it together to make it look authentic. I enjoyed spending time with my mum who helped just a little.

Winners of the competition were revealed to the children in an assembly on Friday 2 December and models are on display around the school.
