TPA children in Year 5 had a brilliant learning block in Robotics Club, with a wonderful group of boys and girls enthusiastically building and programming their own robots using LEGO WeDo 2.0 kits.
The children completed exciting projects, including programming Milo the Science Rover with motion and tilt sensors, creating a rescue helicopter for drop-and-rescue missions, and designing race cars for a speed challenge.
Each project allowed pupils to explore STEM learning through hands-on fun, and it was inspiring to see their creativity and teamwork shine through!
Some of the children were kind enough to provide some positive comments on their experience, saying:
“I like Robotics club because I like programming robots. It’s also fun because I learn new things about technology and lots of other things.”
“I loved building the robots and coding them. My favourite project was the F1 car.”
“I like robotics lessons because every week I get to build and programme a new robot.”
“I like building the robots and testing them.”
“I like when we code our robot, the helicopter and the race car, I love it!”
“I like building the helicopter and everything else. I liked it when we coded it to come down and save the panda.”
