SEN Teaching Assistant

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a committed and personable individual, with experience of supporting children with diverse needs to extend our friendly and supportive teaching team. Candidates will be passionate about making positive changes in children’s lives, have resilience, be creative and caring, and love coming to work. They would ideally have significant experience of working with children with differing needs within an Early Years or KS1 environment.

Candidates should be excellent problem solvers, who are able to adapt their approach appropriately in the moment. The successful candidate will work closely with other SEND Teaching Assistants and the school SENDCo and whilst working as part of a larger team, they will have the responsibility to deliver some 1:1 and small-group sessions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a professional approach, creativity and excellent organisational skills, as well as a good standard of maths and written and spoken English.
