In the build-up to the Christmas holidays, children across the Academy enjoyed a fun-filled festive theatre show from LOL Bear Productions.
LOL Bear are a theatre production company who specialise in delivering pantomime performances to children around the country, starring an experienced West End performer and a comedian with TV and radio experience.
The show was about a little boy who was on Santa’s naughty list as he did not know the true meaning of Christmas, believing that the only important part of it was, of course, presents.
He had seven lessons to learn by Christmas Day in order to move onto Santa’s nice list.
His good conscience tried to help him while his bad conscience tried to make the lessons harder. The children helped him learn his lessons while having lots of fun and laughter.
Some children commented on the show, saying:
“I thought it was really funny when the snake jumped out of the cans.”
“I liked when the man pretended to eat the pet bird and spat the feather out of his mouth.”
“I liked it when he drew an imaginary friend on the whiteboard and the eyes started to move.”
“It was so funny when we had to pretend to chop down the lights and Jay’s hand fell off. We knew it was pretend but it was still funny.”
“I thought it was really clever when he put the glass of water on the triangle and spun it in circles. The water didn’t come out.”
