Academy Council News
We are pleased to announce that last year we raised £575.72 for The Guide Dogs Association. This was through our Stationery Shops and non-school uniform days.
The chosen charity for this academic year is Happy Days Children’s Charity. The charity organises and funds special days like trips to the seaside, theatres, zoos, museums, outdoor activity centres, sporting events and other educational and cultural activities for children right across the UK living with mental, physical and emotional difficulties. This charity supports over 30,000 children nationwide. It also supports children to make new friends and build their confidence. We know that you will all support us and help to raise as much money as we can for our new charity – our aim is to raise over £600.
We are also pleased to announce that this year we have raised an amazing amount of money in our Stationery Shop. We raised £1822.54 and a percentage of this money will start the ball rolling for our new charity.
