The Stationery Shop is Open Next Week!
There is a long-standing tradition at The Premier Academy for the Academy Council to run a Stationery Shop to raise money for the school and the charity that has been nominated for us to support each academic year (more details about this year’s charity will be shared soon).
The children love the Stationery Shop – it is one of the most popular Academy Council initiatives.
I am delighted to announce that the first Stationery Shop of 2026 will be held in school time for all year groups between Monday 9 February and Friday 13 February from 10.00am-11.00am and 2.00pm-3.00pm.
The Stationery Shop will be held throughout the week as part of the school day with staff taking the children across to the Shop. We will stagger the children taken across to make sure it doesn’t get too crowded, so if they do not come home with items on the day you sent money in, don’t worry, they will definitely visit during the week and we have plenty of stock.
There will be a variety of products available to buy including pencils, rubbers, gel pens, notepads, highlighters and much more! Items are priced at either 50p or £1. There will be a few items priced at 20p and these will be aimed at Reception and KS1. Prefects will be on hand to help children choose.
Your child’s lovely items can then be kept at home to use for homework and fun activities, as we receive all the stationery that we need supplied to us to use in school.
If your child would like to visit the Stationery Shop, please send their money in a sealed, named envelope on any day next week. Cash in the form of 10p, 20p, 50p and £1.00 coins would be appreciated and please write on the front how much money you have enclosed.
Please do not send more that £5.00 in to school.
